TIn the midst of untouched natural beauty lies the peak Yalung Ri (5630 m), south from the colorful village of Na. The peak lies in the upper Rolwaling region (considered the main access to the peak) which and can be explored from the south of Yalung La Pass via Khare Khola. The journey to Yalung Ri Peak takes us to many remote villages of the region not updated as the urban places but having its beauty and natural environment intact. The high alpine forest and beautiful river valleys are some memorable scenes to be offered by the trip.

The route to Yalung Ri Peak serves as a route to Ramdung-Go base camp as the base camp for Yalung Ri Peak and Ramdung-Go is same. The trails split and take their own course from the base camp and it is not far from summit or way back to basecamp and Na Village. The peak is straight forward when it comes to its trail and a beautiful view of Mt. Gauri Sankar and Mt. Melungtse can be observed from the peak. We also get a panoramic view of Everest to Langtang. The most suitable months for expedition are October and November.
