Overview

Mera Peak stands in Baun sub sector of the Himalayan is Solukhunbu district with a height of 6476m and it is considered to be the highest trekking peak in the Everest Region. It is suitable for first time mountain climber with adequate physical fitness. The peak has three main submits Mera North 6476m, Mera mid/central 6461m and Mera south 6065m.

The usual route to Mera peak starts from Lukla. We can take a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu or trek from Jiri to Lukla. The trek gives us a view of Nepalese forest and introduce us to rich and exotic culture if Himalayan Region.
