Overview

Langtang is the region in the Himalayas of the Nepal to the north of the Kathmandu valley and bordering Tibet. The Langtang national park is located in this area. About 4500 people live inside the park and many more depend on it for timber and firewood. Majority of the residence here are Tamang.

Langtang gosaikunda trek provides all the best that the Langtang region has to offer.this trek encounters you with the high mountains, glaciers beautiful lakes in a suitable time period and relative comfortable elevation.

This trek begins from Syabrubesi which is only a few hours’ drive from Kathmandu. During our trek we will pass through traditional Tamang village and meet yak herds in many of the yak pasture of the region before Kyanjin Gonpa (3800 m). We will explore around Lang fang valley and visit the glacier before we head for Gosaikunda. On the way we will have a amazing mountain view from Laurebina pass (4160 m) of Annapurna ranges to Langtang ranges and also some views of Tibet. After crossing the Laurebina pass (4610 m) we will be in Langtang region behind us and we travel through Helambu valley.
